Paramount Pictures has stated that they plan to release an unannounced Sonic film set in the Sonic universe in December 2028. This is not the previously announced Sonic the Hedgehog 4 movie, which we already know is in production, and is set to debut in March 2027. Which character, or characters, this new movie is set to feature remains to be seen and there's plenty of options for SEGA and Paramount to chose from.
