We marvel at the serenity of the forest, and crave the shroud of its silence.

The creature was running for its life and thinking very little about staying out of sight. The tracks are a bit close to our own footprints: long, with the front getting wider, though ended with claws. It doesn't resemble either a goblin, nor a dragonling.

I may never make peace with NORCO. All I have are my love letters to it.
The first time I played it I felt disinterested in what I perceived as the repetition of the anticapitalist media I used to consume at breadtube’y lengths. I was too angry at... many things. And couldn’t see the game clearly.

The wind runs through the valley, ramming into your cloaks. The blades of grass bow underneath the trampling rains. The scant flowers, either orange or purple, are growing darker.

The tracks take you toward the copse, where you witness the decay of a hefty boar. It must have run here a few seasons ago, but didn't escape getting its tusks cut out with knives and axes. The belly carries signs of wolf bites.

As the bricks of the hamlet continue to crumble, you can’t tell where the forest ends and the chapel begins.

The path is overgrown, the roof is collapsing, yet the charred woods are anything but empty. Down the hill, a family of deer browses through the ash-covered saplings, while the arguing crows free the land of the nuts left by the flames.

Walled off by the steep rocks you turn toward the frail fence and sit down on your cloaks, trampling the white flowers and shining grass. You try to loosen up as you take in the waving tree crowns, the breeze stroke by the sun, and the bleats of goats.

@razbuten.bsky.social Check out my Roadwarden if you're interested in seeing a modern take of an RPG with a time limit.
A controversial part of the game to be sure, but supports everything about its design.
Will use it again. ; )

With the white and blue flowers blooming all over the valley, the warm walls of the inn invite you to get closer. They shine from the recent dews - if not replaced, they’ll continue to host more and larger bugs.
Your steps send a host of sparrows into disarray.

Your fear calls for you to perceive every tree and every rock, but you grow tired of clearing the blur between the forests and the hills. You don't name the details of your trail, just keep moving, and breathe.

I heard that Roadwarden is not working well on Switch 2, even though it works just fine on Switch 1. I've got no clue how this works, but the team behind the port is going to look into it. Still, right now - the game is on sale, both here and on Steam! #indiedev

No joke - depending on where you live, you can pre-order ROADWARDEN on NINTENTDO SWITCH (yes!) at a discount (now or soon). And in a WEEK, it will be available for purchase!
Thank you, @assembleteam.bsky.social, for handling this port for me! #indiedev #gamedev

Too bad that Contra Spem Spero from ‪@dadzingo.bsky.social‬ isn’t doing too hot on Steam. It’s a very curious, oneiric experience, and while some of its UI and gameplay decisions are a bit misguided, its bravery deserves an applause, and is matched with stylistic, fancy visuals. #indiegame

Despite the broken fences, collapsed trees, and devoured apples, there’s peace. The monkeys follow your steps erratically but remain quiet, as if you have entered a tomb.

I used to be in love with Planescape: Torment. One of its stories that resonated with me belongs to Deionarra: of love, abuse, guilt - human and sincere.
It causes me grief to find a cover of Deionarra's Theme "composed" by an oblivious AI prompt, illustrated with a generic AI-perfect-face lady.
