I’m glad now, of all times, Texas is using its emergency alert system on what’s really important: asking everyone in the state to hand over information about a random guy in a town over an hour away from here who caused some sort of incident at an ICE facility

I read a biography of Lincoln once, and early in his life he was testing his anti-slavery beliefs by reading the best pro-slavery arguments and afterwards he wrote down "None of these people arguing about how great slavery is for the slaves seems to want to be a slave themselves."
