Made whipped cream for the first time tonight. Apparently, according to one person on Threads, I should *not* be proud of myself for that, but I say, “get in the sea,” to that person.

Last night, I had a FaceTime call with "TOTGA" (ask if you need to).
During our conversation, it came to me that I could identify at least 4 places that were meaningful to both of us for various reasons, including our first (and only) trip together.
She came up with more, and I agreed with all.

So, one of my fears about the current admin has been allayed: I just got my new passport hand-delivered to me by a very friendly Royal Mail carrier.
For those not following along, I sent it off for renewal 2.5 weeks ago from the US Embassy in London, and I *already* have it back. 😓

The last 12 hours have frankly been a bit frantic for me.
I gained clarity on something ‘the one that got away’ said to me 9 years ago directly from her. 🤯
We’ve remained friends since our relationship kind of just…stopped…when we were separated by an ocean against our wills.
