Oh for the good old days when every editorial board in America LOUDLY demanded the Clintons shut down their charitable organization for fear it would be used to curry favor w/Hillary if she became President 🙃

The future of AI….
Someone on Threads noticed you can type any random sentence into Google, then add “meaning” afterwards, and you’ll get an AI explanation of a famous idiom or phrase you just made up. Here is mine

While you can buy a president, you apparently cannot buy a judge in Wisconsin www.npr.org/2025/04/01/n...
Trump and Musk's backing wasn't enough to flip Wisconsin Supreme Court
National Democrats sent in millions for the liberal's campaign while Trump endorsed — and Musk financed — the conservative's. Abortion, redistricting and Tesla could come before the court.

Elon is lying. Not only does the Social Security Administration use SQL, the agency has an entire IT division dedicated to database operations. The SSA's entire Master Files index runs directly on DB2.
not a new observation but Elon Musk genuinely isn't very bright, genuinely has no idea how most things work, and his entire supergenius engineer persona is a tech press-enabled mythology (they've never been held accountable for)

Have not seen this kind of circular accounting nonsense since the early days of AOL roundtripping. Would like to see the actual ad numbers, but insiders tell me it’s what you imagine given the quality of the product. Investors are buying the possible benefits Musk’s proximity to Trump, aka cronyism.

The overwhelming msg they're getting this week is that this admin simply has no idea how anything works

As someone who tried out Multiversus once during its original explosive positive beta and was put off by how bad its monetization and character unlocking system was even back then, it sure has been a weird journey to see it go away, come back even worse, and now shut down with so little fanfare

Quinten Post told a story at the podium tonight of Steph Curry taking him home at 2:30 am after a road trip because Uber wasn’t working. Said it was probably a 20-minute detour but clearly meant a lot to Post.

What’s the difference between a gov controlling an algorithm, silently eliminating reach for things it doesn’t like, vs the same gov using its power, to demand that the platform remove the things it doesn’t like.?

In China they are overt. With TikTok in the US, they control silently
