I was listening to a podcast where they were talking with the creators of DarkSpace , scifi rules based on the Shadowdark system. They have a kickstarter here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/dmi... And one of the creators mentioned running a Thundarr the Barbarian game using both rule sets...

Speaking of the underdark, I highly recommend this movie. It's not perfect, but the palpable terror of what the Underdark represents is wonderful.

Had a great Vaesen game tonight. First time I've run a new one shot and the players nailed it. Absolutely solved it. I feel really good about the complexity, or rather the lack thereof. If you have the means these two books really enhance the experience for the players:

Predator: Badlands was pretty good. I'm not steeped in the lore, but I'm aware of the Aliens connections and I really like how they capitalized on that.
