They are the inspiration for the game, but don't have any direct info to necessarily link to the mysteries in the game, but they have good hints. It's great giving them to players to represent the society's "research library" and help them just enough, but not too much. #ttrpg

Had a great Vaesen game tonight. First time I've run a new one shot and the players nailed it. Absolutely solved it. I feel really good about the complexity, or rather the lack thereof. If you have the means these two books really enhance the experience for the players:

One of my favorite villains is Commodore Norrington from the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. He's not a stereotype of a cruel officer he's a very proud man resolute in his duty to King and Country. He's an honorable man where duty puts him at odds with the protagonists we're rooting for.
