This is true. Canada isn't the only one making plans with other trade partners in an effort to disentangle its economy from America, and the new partnerships Canada forges, as well as the ones it strengthens and leans more heavily on, will be permanent. What Trump has lost America will never regain.

This is true. the whole structure of this argument — independent agencies are politically unaccountable therefore the president must have removal power — treats congress as if it were a total nullity, or as if only the president truly represents the public.
