Trump is attacking a governor in the midst of a devastating crisis. And of course, Trump’s weapons are outrageous lies and puerile name-calling.

Trump accused Governor Gavin Newsom of refusing to sign what Trump is calling the “water restoration declaration.” No such document exists or has ever…
During Covid

Donald Trump tried to withhold giving aid to Blue states

Because they didn’t vote for him

So it should come as no surprise

That as the LA fires destroy entire neighborhoods

Leaving thousands homeless and devastated

Instead of offering to help

Trump attacks Gavin Newsom

REMINDER: It was never really about Blue vs Red, Democrats vs Republicans, Black vs White...

It was ALWAYS about ultra-wealthy vs everyone else. And now they want to ransack our Social Security so they can get another tax cut for the rich.

Fuck. That.

In 1979, Jimmy Carter installed solar panels on the White House. In 1986, Ronald Reagan tore them down along w/Carter’s clean energy funding.

This sums up the difference between the two men & political parties. Investing in solutions for the future vs canceling progress to score political points.

This brings me to the toughest part: the fact that we are on our own. Institutions that assured us they would be in the fight for democracy are already backing down. People who claimed they saw Trump clearly for what he is now have voluntarily put blinders in front of their own eyes.

Heads up! The GOP is planning to ram through the SAVE Act next week.

You would NOT be able to register to vote with:

➡️Military ID
➡️Tribal ID

You would have to PROVE your citizenship - BUT people who have changed their names would not be allowed to use their birth certificates.
