Did anyone else watch the TV movie Sybil as part of high school health class?? My best friend and I still quote it to this day (feel less bad about that now knowing the whole thing was a hoax 😅), but in hindsight, that seems like such an odd choice for a gen ed health class??

All week I’ve been wondering if the thing my cats are staring at is a pantry moth or a ghost. Now I desperately want to write a story about this but I can’t figure out the angle or POV and the most deranged part of my brain keeps going “give the POV to the moths”

I was watching the 1966 film adaptation of Mary McCarthy’s The Group last night and couldn’t figure out why the actor playing Libby looked so familiar, and then it hit me: she’s Lucille Bluth!

Okay I know we’ve largely agreed that talking about dreams can get a little boring but I have a question for you all: what is the architecture of your dreams like? Do you dream buildings that are realistic and logically designed or do you dream buildings that are all surprises and confusion?

reposting this today because I have no marketing budget, because I'm publishing this with a tiny press run by a friend, because I put my whole heart into this book like I did with Boxcutters and I'm proud as fuck and this year has been one long painful but fruitful lesson in perseverance and risk
Final edit ARCs are in 🙏
Preorders heading my way soon
