He doesn't care about national security. He saved TikTok because it serves his interest. TikTok is a major source of Trump memes and disinformation. With the announced deal, this will continue and likely increase.

For Trump, a military conflict with Iran would distract from:

-Sinking poll numbers
-A devastating (and unpopular) budget bill
-Harmful trade wars
-Unleashing the military on American soil
-Millions of people protesting his authoritarianism

We must remain on high alert. [Cartoon by Adam Zyglis]

So, is Iran where Trump proves that he does not always chicken out, as TACO contends? He is so petty and narcissistic that it is not beyond possibility that he would start a war to vindicate his fragile ego. I would hope for cooler heads to prevail, but there seem to be none around him.

Public lands are just that: public, and owned by the taxpayer. Republicans want to auction them off to the highest bidder to pay for their billionaire tax cuts. Hell no.
Federal lands in Oregon, other Western states could be up for sale under budget proposal
The sales would not include national parks, national monuments or wilderness, under the proposal that U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, included in the GOP's tax cut package.

If you're traveling to Europe this summer for a holiday, the value of the US dollar against the euro has dropped from 97 cents on election day to 88 cents today. It's one consequence of market induced tariff chaos. Thanks Trump.

Trump told cadets at West Point he had to leave because he had to deal with Russia and China and that was why he didnt shake every cadets hand. Then he went golfing.

Tell me how any self-respecting veteran still supports this person.

While everybody is arguing about Comey and 8647, Moody’s has downgraded the United States’ credit rating from Aaa to Aa1 — the first-ever U.S. credit downgrade in the agency’s history.

Distraction.

Sigh . . . . Not sure how anyone, including even Justice Roberts, could have been so naive and clueless, but here we are.
I think a lot about CJ Roberts writing this in 2024: "The dissents' positions in the end boil down to . . . fear mongering on the basis of extreme hypotheticals about a future where the President 'feels empowered to violate federal criminal law.'"
