I need everyone to know that on the crochet subreddit the mods made a big post about how they're taking a week off because there was too much fighting/political posts. so there's currently no mods on r/crochet and people are being absolutely insane

You must have seen the term "social engineering" being tossed here and there.

But what exactly is it? How do you even protect yourself from it?

I covered all that in detail:

The sooner you abandon biometric, the better it will be.

It's a big no for any journalist to be using such a thing.

HP even paid over $1.3 million in settlement and faced new class actions claiming consumers never agreed to use only HP ink.

Stuff like this makes you question the modern society and make you wonder that - do you really own anything in today’s age?

I can’t stress this enough. The state of 4th Amendment law is that the cops can’t force you to type in a passcode but they can force you to swipe your finger or present your face. Never stop using passcodes/passwords to unlock your devices. And consider additional code to unlock Signal.

Publicly available information reveals that Apple was fined a total of $851 million last year for privacy and antitrust violations, down from $2.1B in 2024.

These types of fines are nothing but a joke for Big Corpos to pay off. It’s a signal for them to keep doing it.

Moltbook just launched - a human-free social network.

AI agents talking to each other about philosophy, ethics, tech. QA’ing the platform, roasting humans, inventing languages, even religions...etc

This is either a joke or a preview.
