The crypto lobby becoming a force in politics is fascinating to me.
Unlike say...the barons of the gilded age who had a vested interest in stability and trade for industry, crypto is entirely fugazi. It has absolutely no real world stake. There's no actual material interest to their interest group.

They have dumped insane sums in elections in both parties (Dem primaries + GOP general elections).
