They/Them

Casually a hardcore Nintendo fan.
The other area that usually causes huge drops in frame rate isn't performing badly whatsoever, other than the noticable drops in resolution.

Used Sooga to suspend some of those projectile animations, and it still barely left a dent in the frame rate.

Another notable location in this mission is the outpost with Electric Lizalfos and Electric Lynel.

Normally, I would consider this to be the laggiest part of the whole game. This is true for Switch 2 Handheld mode.

However, Docked mode seems to be able to withstand such high amount of activity.

I've attempted to replicate this in Docked mode. Turns out I pushed myself into conditions even more prone to drops in frame rate.

It... was actually playable.

I guess the only explanation is that the Switch 2 dock "de-underclocks" the Switch 2 by a much larger margin than the Switch 1 on Docked.

I wasn't able to trigger a game crash, but I was able to get the game to momentarily freeze.

This footage was captured on Nintendo Switch 2 in Handheld mode.

"The Fiercest of Foes" challenge mission in Age of Calamity has a section where every Electric Lizalfos is programmed to only use lightning attacks.

As a result, this is where you will experience the worst performance in the entire game.

...on the other hand, specific movesets can absolutely break the game.

Monk Maz Koshia is one of the characters who absolutely shreds most boss fights.

Age of Calamity is an example of a Nintendo game that hits two opposite extremes in difficulty.

On one hand, you have something that becomes overwhelmingly (but not unreasonably) difficult...
