Age of Imprisonment not getting nominated for Best Action is yet another example of this anti-Musou bias.

The claw grip, I can tolerate.

The dialogue? It's worse than Don Mattrick's vision for Xbox. It's worse than Stadia. It's worse than the Wii U.

I will be doing some further testing on this. I would be disappointed if handheld was completely glossed over during testing.

For now, I recommend only playing this game on Switch 2 Docked mode, and on a 60Hz or 120Hz display to get the best experience. Also consider digital for faster load times.

I suspect that all of the buzz surrounding this game running better on Switch 2 came from people testing the game primarily in Docked mode.

I also think this is what Nintendo and/or Koei Tecmo likely did as well when compiling the list of backwards compatible Nintendo Switch titles.

The other area that usually causes huge drops in frame rate isn't performing badly whatsoever, other than the noticable drops in resolution.

Used Sooga to suspend some of those projectile animations, and it still barely left a dent in the frame rate.

Another notable location in this mission is the outpost with Electric Lizalfos and Electric Lynel.

Normally, I would consider this to be the laggiest part of the whole game. This is true for Switch 2 Handheld mode.

However, Docked mode seems to be able to withstand such high amount of activity.

Yes, the game is very unoptimized to the point where the fixes have to come from the software side.

I've actually caused the game to crash on Switch 2 a few times.

Only in docked mode. You will get better frame pacing and the dynamic resolution wouldn't tank as hard. I can't guarantee this though, and I'm still doing some testing to see how bad the game can get.

Unfortunately, the game still runs pretty poorly on handheld. It has the same problems as Switch 1

Unfortunately, the only way to purchase this game at its original price is by purchasing the digital version via Humble Bundle.

I'm hoping they give us updated graphics. One of the things I've wanted for a long time was for the visual fidelity to match the animation quality of the concerts and promotional material.

What is this, the Blue Woman Group?

From what I can tell, SW Outlaws was already less half the file size of AC Shadows.

70 GB comes from what the game key card box art says in multiple regions, so I have to assume that might be the definitive answer.

A little bit of optimization goes a long way.

Many of my game crashes occurred while I was on the go, and many of them occurred when I played the game returning from Sleep mode.

I have stated before that this challenge is by far the worst for performance. Gameplay can tank down to 5FPS.

I will also be deploying Impa, Sidon, Maz Koshia, and Sooga, as they are often some of the laggier Warriors.

My first test will be in handheld mode, and I will be using Sleep mode as well.
