With marches occurring all over the US yesterday, I want to highlight the march in Minnesota where temperatures were around -15F. Compare that to the 25F expected in Washington DC for tomorrow’s inaugural which was moved inside because it is too cold.

I just read this morning that my county in TX, Dallas County was up 9% in voter registrations (Thanks Beto ❤️) but was down significantly in actual voters. Does anyone have an idea why this would be true?

The thing that this doesn’t address is the way that exposing yourself to a deluge of Nazi bile affects you, and the way that your opinion is buried on the Nazi site unless you pay money to the Nazi who runs it.
A world where prominent liberals hang out in insular low-profile circles largely disconnected from political figures and journalists is a world where liberals have less cultural and political power, even if their reasons for doing so are valid. Life is complicated, I’m sorry for saying it out loud.
