Short-term, governments need to stand together to challenge this aggression. Long-term, they need to start working towards a fairer trade model, which stops prioritising the interests of big corporations, and starts putting ordinary people, here and across the world, first.

We don’t know whether these newly-threatened tariffs will come to pass, but we do know that they are being used to bully governments into handing even more of their sovereignty to some of the biggest corporations in the world.

I hope not! Support for her as a person, her courage and care for others is surely not the same as supporting any organisation! I met Sue quite a bit a few years ago, and she is quite something!

That's not the point I am trying to make. Alongside doing our best to oppose the current British government's support for Israel, and acknowledge the awful colonial past, we have to look out for the changing layers of oppression and where they continue to arise. Watch the rich, and the corporations.
