It took me a while to take this as a comment on the earth: which may or may not have been intended. But maybe it was.
It was quiet, beautiful and unusally warm here all last week, just flipped a bit yesterday. Listening and loving.

It's no time for a new coal mine. Especially one that would extract coal until December 2049. All for export, all high sulphur coal. The permission was quashed last year, but they get a chance to try again. www.slacc.org.uk for more info.

South Lakes Action on Climate Change (SLACC) is defending last year's High Court ruling quashing West Cumbria Mining's planning consent for a new deep coal mine in Cumbria. We don't know if the mining company will respond to the UK government, but we can't leave them an open goal!
