Seeing a lot of people very worried about a proposed amendment to the Data Bill.
In short, such amendments very rarely succeed without Government support - which this one doesn't have. It may still however create some nasty debate if selected.
But if you're worried, you can write to your MP.

Something i would like folks to understand about the police raid on Westminster Quaker Meeting House. The right wingers thinking its a slam dunk to correct folks about it 'not being a meeting for worship, it was a room hire'
They are wrong, and its ignorance of Quakers, their history and praxis.

All this will do is leave innocent kids like Brianna with absolutely no support at all when they are bullied for being trans at school. Ridiculous thing for her to be pushing for when there's so much real stuff to be going for instead
Social media bans won't prevent many people across our population from becoming steeped in dangerous transphobic bigotry.
Not when that hate is printed in every paper, repeated by ministers and entire political parties.
Instagram didn't cause this.

"NHS spends £100m a year on trans treatments"
"not on hormones or surgery though lmao"
so the headline is really "NHS spends 100m a year on being an obstacle to trans people's bodily autonomy."
You should be appalled at how much they are wasting in preventing us from transition! it is sickening!

The British Sociological Association @britsoci.bsky.social have removed replaced "gender" with "sex" in their member equality survey, and erased the "non-binary" response option entirely.

I am so heartbroken. I got to know Elisa two years ago when she came to me with hundreds of emails of anti-trans legislators scheming around restricting trans rights. I helped get her story told by the New York Times and Washington Post. She deserved so much better.
RIP.
RIP.
I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.
She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.
RIP Elisa.
