A federal district court’s ruling yesterday on a Texas redistricting scheme was bad news for Republicans, and a few Democratic politicians were happy to let them know it 👇

Colorado’s Voting Rights Act, which took effect in August 2025, just as the federal Voting Rights Act marked its 60th anniversary, expands multilingual ballot access, ensures voting rights for people in jail, and adds protections against discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation.
As the Voting Rights Act marks its 60th anniversary, two Colorado analysts say it’s facing its greatest tests yet

Get ready to hear this spiel from Trump's circle as commonly as we used to hear "of course Trump will be happy to release his taxes, just as soon as the IRS completes its audit."
Everyone does know what's going on here, right? Should the Epstein evidence bill pass both the House and Senate, these criminals will say it can't be released because there is an active investigation. Never mind that a thorough investigation was completed, and the DOJ was prepared to try Epstein.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

About time the bishops recognized there’s more to American politics than the debate over choice.
America's Roman Catholic bishops have rebuked the Trump admin's aggressive deportation campaign in a rare and near-unanimous statement.

"We as Catholic bishops love our country … we feel compelled now in this environment to raise our voices in defense of God-given human dignity."
