The decline in Trump's popularity comes from a few places:

1) Hispanic MAGA finding out that they're not white.

2) People that voted for ramping up racism and xenophobia, not being smart enough to connect their recent financial ruin with the racist policies they are happy to still support.

I've been thinking about this but from a union democracy perspective. I think AI is stupid and the devil but many union members (in my industry anyway) are no-college and maybe even functionally illiterate.
I think more than anything else AI feels like a miracle to people with questionable literacy because it can read and write for you, and a lot of us who are highly literate underestimate how many of our society's leaders, esp in business, struggle with literacy.
