I do not want to “Do my own research.” I want to pay trained accredited experts to do the research, trained accredited experts to report on findings, and trained accredited experts to make policy based on them.

I am busy af with my own job, I don’t need to do eight zillion more.

We went and saw a matinee of “Predator: Badlands” and except for me figuring out I am an old because the theater was too cold and the movie was too loud, I enjoyed it tremendously. Found family for the win! I actually teared up when the first Big Thing at the end of the movie happened.

So I just cleaned out my closet AGAIN because my clothes don’t fit anymore. I always thought losing this much weight would be exciting but having clothes that don’t fit and trying to figure out what I can wear really puts a damper on the whole thing.

It’s cool but not cold here this morning so I made myself a London Fog with breakfast and then had a Diet Coke and friend, I gotta tell you I can now see the inside of time because of the caffeine I just consumed.

When my kids were small we watched A LOT of Backyardigans and there was a moment when they were singing and dancing and I thought “They have to practice just so much!”

And then realized they are animated characters and yeah, it was exactly like this.
whenever i'm watching star trek and there's an actor playing a hologram i think "oh yeah this actor is not real" and then i think "wait wtf the actor is a real person" and then a few seconds later i have the first thought again

But like it doesn’t have to? This is a cash grab choice. You can choose to not subscribe.

I’m not going to read any of those emails. I don’t want or need that garbage in my head. I knew it was gonna be this bad because he told us who he is 10 years ago.

People keep promising consequences. I am ready to see them. Start today. Bring it. For all of them. Strip them of titles & position & wealth. Start prosecution. Jail time. All of it. It’s a matter of political will at this point. Letting it continue makes our entire government complicit.

After her walk about earlier this week, I’ve been reading about Cognitive Disfunction Syndrome in dogs and this dear old girl almost certainly has it. (She has 4 of the 5 signs.) But for now, she still enjoys sitting in the sun while I play fetch with Fe. #Corgidor #SeniorPets

You knew what he was. He told you who he was on the access hollywood tapes, the times he lingered in pageant dressing rooms, & talking about his own daughter. Acting surprised now that he had a network supporting that behavior with so much money and power makes me think no one was listening.

I'm so tired of study after study that shows clear economic growth and stability for everyone (UBI, 4 day work week, universal healthcare, etc) but because the richest people in the country get rich faster without them, we all just suffer instead.

And this over the top of already obscene wealth...

There is no way on earth someone is going to look at me while I have both of my backpack straps on and confuse me with a high schooler. I look like what I am: a middle-aged white woman who has too many hobbies and regularly carries too many books. 😂
I’m on a quick mental rest break and I saw some guy on TikTok saying it’s time to retire the backpack because he can’t “two strap” it or he looks like a high schooler.

Bro, I’m 51 and I wear a backpack with two straps all over the damn place. No one can stop me. It’s practical AF.

I don’t think these companies realize how fast I will stop spending money with them if my only recourse to resolve issues is with an AI chat bot. At the point I can’t figure out how to solve my own problem, their shitty AI interface isn’t going to cut it.

So moved and enraged by the replies to this and was thinking... maybe we should collect them and send them to Chuck Schumer and the rest of the Senate cowards.

Form here, won't collect emails unless you provide them.

Yesterday my old dog, Anwyn, the yellow Corgidor, slipped out our front door while I was getting a package in. I didn’t know it until a kind neighbor I’ve never met before called me to let me know she was limping around in the cul-de-sac at the bottom of our street.
