@muellershewrote.com I didn't hear Adam Klasfeld mention it, but IIRC Tim Mak is was a combat medic as well. Worth mentioning because he's not just an incredible journalist, but a veteran. And his on the ground coverage in Ukraine included "war dogs" at the end, where he'd post dog pics.
