I'm most excited to watch Misa. He was my nephew's favorite player while in Saginaw. My nephew has his autograph and a photo with him. Also wears Misa's #77 for all his sports. It would be fun to see Misa succeed and share stories with my nephew.

Can confirm. Seems the team should have done this months ago, but they are experts at alienating fans no matter the geographic location.
People dunking on the "by popular demand" line, but anecdotally, all three times I popped into the team store at Sutter Health Park this season, I overheard people asking for *anything* that said "Sacramento" on it. And, last night, lots of fans were wearing Friday's Sacramento sweatshirt #athletics
