As organisations like Unison flout the Supreme Court ruling on sex & gender, leaders can’t continue to hide behind judges and regulators. They need to explain to detractors why protecting women’s rights is so important. Including Keir Starmer

“Starmer's EU deal is a big break in the suffocating Brexit consensus that has held Britain back for a decade. For the first time a UK government is doing things to actually undo the damage of Brexit, rather than increase it. For that alone it should be welcomed” 👏

Keir Starmer's EU Reset Deal Is the First Crack in the Brexit Wall Holding Britain Back
This agreement marks the beginning of the end of the suffocating Brexit consensus that has gripped British politics for a decade, argues Adam Bienkov

This is true anything anyone does now to try to make trade with the EU smoother is painted as a betrayal of something that is shit in the first place.
Brexit was never going to work, but that's somewhat beside the point now - because it has become a cult.

And that's everyone's problem when seeking to resolve it.

ITV should make a drama about Justin Welby’s failings.
Maybe then he would face some justice.

Labour seems intent on shredding support and out Torying Badenoch. Going after the most vulnerable people in society is not what the Labour Party should be doing.

Pro-assisted dying MPs are approaching their bill in a hyperpartisan way, treating expert concerns that vulnerable people will be subjected to wrongful state-sanctioned deaths dismissively. The buck for that stops with Keir Starmer.

A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼

It saddens me to my core that this magnificent chap has passed away.
I had the pleasure of his company whilst shooting a tv drama together many years ago.
His generosity of spirit and his extraordinarily unique talents were immeasurable.
Sleep well, Tony Slattery… you were an absolute delight! 🙌 x

Word of the day is a favourite for this time of year. To be ‘crambazzled’, in old Yorkshire dialect, is to be prematurely aged by excess drinking or partying.
