Trad in the ceremonials / progressive in the encyclicals is a well-worn Anglo-Catholic path that for whatever reason is less common among Roman Catholics.
As an Anglo-Catholic, it’s bizarre to see people associating traditional attire with “being trad” so I’m glad Leo XIV is severing that
