I submitted a free survey question to @verasight.bsky.social at MPSA this year asking respondents whether they believe the term “far right” describes their politics: got some interesting results! One crosstab and full question results here, I welcome any thoughts!

NYT is reporting that AfD is in second place, and similar to their coverage in the US they are using the term “hard right” to describe the party. Why not “far right”? It reads to me as calculated distancing from the political moment but I’m open to being wrong
