It's the kind of book that can speak to both a lay an academic audience, but I particularly call for academics to take this kind of research seriously and learn from Lavin's methods and style.

The follow up is my boyfriend an I had a discussion on if it was okay to miss practice for more time getting ready/prom pictures. Never thought I’d get mad at a 28 year old for saying he’d want more time with me if we went to prom together.

Me too! I thought it could be survey fatigue, but when you combine both alignment categories it seems like too high of a percentage!

I grew up in Pittsburgh in the early 2000s and the difference even now is palpable. Why would we ever want to undo this.
