So final thing, this link no longer works which might be because a major label has swooped in with a massive lump of cash and it’s a bit messy for a few days on Spotify etc as it moves, or because it’s a dodgy sample and is being pulled. Or, it’s going to be the first UK number 1 with an AI vocal.
So what’s the deal with this track, new artist, first release, out last week, going straight into the Uk top 10 this week, seemingly no streaming editorial support, 11 million streams on Spotify and as far as I can tell hardly any on any other platform

Still intrigued by I Run by Haven, absolutely ginormous track, huge on tiktok but loads of people think the vocal is Jorja Smith and they’ve not credited her (on the Spotify credits at least) and I have a feeling they did a naughty little sample and never thought it would blow up and oh dear

Not sure I’m feeling Pluribus, it’s an interesting concept and well executed I suppose but so far feels fairly joyless and bleak. I just don’t know if I actually care about Carol.
