Kinda random slice-of-lifey, and I'm a bit late by now, but I wanted to wrap up ace week by sharing a lil bit more of my married life with my queerplatonic partner, so there we go.

I do struggle with drawing crowds, but it just wasn't going to feel right unless all these kids were there. :)

It seems pointless to fact check someone saying "curry isn't proper British food like fish and chips", just like it's futile to correct someone saying "there are no pronouns in the Bible". They haven't made a mistake. What they're saying is, "Britain is a white country".

I feel like I'm really close" A second look at the whole comic shows that the last two panels read in the wrong order because the jigsaw has been put together incorrectly.

I've been quiet about MIS for a long time, so here's just a quick update.
My Impossible Soulmate will return... soon. I've been quiet for a long while again, and I've seen from comments and DMs that people are getting worried. So here's a quick update. It's been a rough year for MIS and for me. The last canon page was just about six months ago, and even then, the last update was about four months ago. The good news is that the task I set out to do - work on the final volume of my previous comic, Rain - is in its last phases. The extra long bonus chapter is complete and drawn, which for me, was the biggest obstacle. I'm currently working on the book cover (ended up being basically the last thing because I was struggling to settle on a design I was happy with). And then I'll do edits, and I can finally submit everything. I've also done a little bit of prep work for some future projects (I'll go into that at a later date), and worked on a few collab pieces with friends (also to be seen at a later date). So even if I've been quiet, I've been keeping myself busy. I did want to participate in one of the many October daily drawing challenges too, but the last thing I need is to put even more on my plate right now. ^^; All that said, I've been thinking about MIS a lot over all this time. I miss it so much. I miss my kids. I miss sharing their story. I'm worried people will forget about them. But I think I'll be ready to get back to drawing pages again within the next week or so. I don't have a return date set in stone at this very moment. I'd like to have a fairly substantial page buffer at the ready so I can keep things going for a while without any unplanned breaks slowing things down, though. So best case scenario, I'd love to see MIS return to regular posting perhaps next month. Worst case, we restart fresh in 2026. I'm gonna do my damnedest to get things moving along as soon as I can, but as you just read, I've had a lot on my plate (and that's just the art stuff). So if it takes until January, so be it. But know that I'm aiming for November.
