I was raised Christian evangelical. My mom read both the Strong-Willed Child & Dare to Discipline. I was spanked bare bottomed with a wooden ruler. She flushed my head down the toilet and justified it as I was being disobedient.The worst was when she beat me across the back with a metal vacuum wand.
