There is a key moral distinction between immigration policy on new arrivals, no matter how draconian, and on people who have already been granted status, on set conditions. It is about being a country that keeps its word. If we're not that, we might as well fucking give up now.

We don't have the money to end child poverty, but a digital ID card to try and appease the far right, up pops the magic money tree.

I think there are reasonable arguments for the cards for most people to make it easier to get services etc. (And there are counter-arguments, of course.) But the idea that it controls/regularises immigration and the black economy is bollocks.

I agree with this in timing but boy does it feel on cheap easy eating options also why doesn’t it have a lounge?

A proper greasy spoon breakfast doesn’t do ramekins - beans dropped on plate to mix with the grease of the fried bread - as it should be!

In the Netherlands you get these great beach bars, right on the sand (good drinks, great food) and loads of them have play areas right on the sand immediately by the chairs and tables for adults
