Was happy to see this - but noticed a bunch of folks talking about “cloture” in the comments - what is that?
I am voting no on the CR. Trump and Musk are taking a wrecking ball to vital services for veterans, seniors and kids. I will not support a bill that helps them do it. I will support a clean 30 day CR.

The greatest political scandal today is not what Trump is doing. It is the fact that congressional Republicans have given up their role in the constitutional system as a check on the executive branch. If we are in a constitutional crisis, it is as much on Mike Johnson and John Thune as anyone else.

Respond back to me at the same volume I initiated the request.
If I whisper to you to turn off the music as I tiptoe out of my toddler’s room at bedtime, yelling back at me is not ideal 😆
