AND she came asking for food this morning before I applied her appetite stimulant! I’m not holding my breath but it was a relief to have a hungry kitty in the kitchen with me for a change.

And she’s finding the windows of opportunity to go downstairs to use the bathroom 🙏 I wanted to get her on the same floor as me and the puppy so she has a chance to learn his patterns and when she can move through space without him noticing and it’s working 👌

She is obviously having no issue eating when she’s hungry so the problem is that something is taking her appetite away, and the vet thinks it’s thyroid-related.

That said, we did get an appetite stimulant prescribed and started it yesterday and between then and today she’s eaten more calories than she’s probably had, cumulatively, in the past two weeks. This is great, but we’re waiting on thyroid panel results to pinpoint what’s going on.
