If I’d one wish left to me in this profession it’d be that, as a director, I could give a job to all the actors I’ve worked with, tutored or come across in my career whom I’ve been impressed by.
Unfortunately there aren’t nearly enough opportunities to do so & many will never know my respect. 🙁 🙌 x

Two years to the day since my ma passed away.
She & my dad never missed a show I did in over 40 years, once travelling 10 hrs by train to see me in a lunchtime play!
They would have loved #AChristmasCarol so much.

I'm signing off this week the parent of a child. When I return to socials, I'll be the parent of a teenager.
I can't quite comprehend that it's almost 13 years since our darling daughter, Sapphire, was born. Every moment has been deliciously precious, but oh so rapid.

Yay. My 10,000 steps a day streak hit 9 years today!(with a frustrating exception after food poisoning on 2 Aug 23). Its an arbitrary but decent target.
My aim this year is for the 1st time to average over 26,000 steps a day. I'm on track for it (well on pavement, road, carpet)
