Couldn't one argue that Greenland shouldn't really "belong" to Denmark since they just colonized a previously inhabited place? Unpopular take, but maybe all trump wants to do is change the flag of the colonizer? (I do not support the move but at least consider the long view)

ME: Vote for Democrats so that they have the power to stop Republicans from doing these horrible things!

VOTERS: Doesn't vote for Democrats

REPUBLICANS: Does the horrible things

VOTERS: WHY AREN'T THE DEMOCRATS STOPPING THEM? GROW A SPINE!

ME: BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T GIVE THEM THE POWER BY VOTING!!!

pathetic. you don't want a vote to protect health care. you know that will never happen with these republicans. but i guess you can fundraise off the outrage when they renege on their "promise" and that's what's good for YOU. as a senator, you have failed.
My statement on the funding deal to reopen government, protect federal employees, and vote to protect health care:

NOT JUST TYLENOL: Don't lose sight of the ongoing lawsuits involving J&J/Kenvue over talc. This could be a ploy to get a $20M payoff to Trump for relief at the Supreme Court level for that and a retraction of the statements on Tylenol to avoid all those inevitable lawsuits. THE GRIFT IS REAL

Why are we passing laws to take books out of schools and put more guns in schools? In the Law and Order states, anyway.
August 27, 2025 at 6:12 PM
maybe it's time to do something about the guns (and people with guns) in this country?

Cracker Barrel - isn't that the name of Trump's cabinet?
August 27, 2025 at 3:42 PM
I'm a little slow, I guess, but I just realized why Trump has been so determined to punish Columbia and Harvard. I haven't heard anyone else make the connection but I'm sure it's been said.
These are of course Obama's alma maters. trump's insecurity continues to amaze!

Elon and Trump are cat-fighting in the public forum. Watch out for what they're trying to slip past us with this obvious distraction. GOP/maga/oligarchy is up to something.

Anyone remember what happened the last time a king ruled over (what would become) the US?

So trump is spending millions and billions to influence the people and govt of Greenland, but in El Salvador, his hands are tied and it's all up to them? Maybe he should send VP couch guy and his wife to apply some diplomatic pressure?

Anybody got the stats for young men betting in Vegas thinking they’re going to beat the house? Same energy. No one is going to argue that men aren’t considerably more reckless (with money - and everything else) than women. And… cue all the guys telling me I’m wrong in 3, 2, 1….
Forty-two percent of men ages 18 to 29 have invested in, traded, or used cryptocurrency, compared with 17% of women in the same age range, Pew said. Interestingly, just 17% of all U.S. adults say they have invested in, traded, or used a cryptocurrency, according to the 2024 survey
Do you have any data on that, Mark?

Don’t let Schumer fool you with his 4D chess. He knew no one was going to buy his book on its merits. So he pisses off the left, gets praise from trump, and the maga world buys up all his books to own the libs. It’s the cybertruck playbook.

Any guesses which private company will get the contract to manage our national parks? Six Flags? Hilton? Disney? The parks are already understaffed and difficult to manage. Anyone else looking forward to $75 admission tickets and $50 parking?

Let’s be real here - Trump is just finishing the job that Nixon started. And this time congress isn’t going to stop him because the press is going to ensure that the public doesn’t notice or doesn’t care.

Truth be told - Trump loved the halftime show. But he thought it was Kanye on the field.
