maybe trump will (promise to) ship fancy Fiji water to all his rural supporters?

If trump invents a crisis and he "justifies" suspending elections, house and senate members keep their seats. What's their motivation to stop supporting him (or only mildly criticizing him)? The GOP coup, 40 years in the making, was complete when the billionaires snatched up the media.

Miranda rights? Do Miranda rights apply when abducted by the military on foreign soil?

This incident occurred in 2022 - but this lawsuit is filed in 2025. Can Bluesky Legal comment on the likelihood this would be dismissed due to time? Aren't these suits limited to less than a year between incident and filing?

Against vampires? I guess we know which side you favor in the vampires v. werewolves genre

Recently I realized that there are two economies - one for 95% of us who are affected by inflation, unemployment, and layoffs - and another one for the rest of the people who only care about corporate profits and the stock market. The latter control the media and the politicians

Pretty sure you DIDN’T say “presidential” in your original response. All you have to do is scroll up a bit to see that. And then you can apologize.

Biden wasn’t on the ticket in 2024.

there are two stations in Denver that drop prices below $2 per gallon for a couple of days. All the other stations in town are $2.25 to $2.99. And those two stations with the performative low prices raise them back to $2.35 to $2.45 after the photo ops are done. Taking a loss to please the king

I remember when trump took credit for the vaccine.

It’s hard to keep up - are they war criminals, communists, or pedophiles? How are categorizing non-maga figures today?

read the book - and then listen to the audio version. It's very entertaining as well.

can we get a graph that adjusts for inflation?
December 4, 2025 at 11:48 PM
The higher fuel efficiency standards are the main cause of the super high performance cars we have today. They get 2-3x more HP from gasoline engines today and they’re cleaner and better behaved than ever. And then there’s the fact that EVs are even faster. Rollbacks only take us backward literally

At this point does the “law” really matter? We’ve reached the apex of selective prosecution and pardons for anyone aligned with the Executive’s agenda

As I said - go look up “reinsurance” and see why I say insurance companies don’t really lose money. The headlines may say that, but their balance sheets don’t.

And now imagine the masses of men who are going to freely refer to women as "piggy" as if it's acceptable.
November 18, 2025 at 5:05 PM
maybe for-profit insurance isn't such a good thing? and despite their whining about disasters, they never really lose money, do they? look into the re-insurance and re-re-insurance businesses a little and see how it all works against us.
