Great Basin bristlecone pine at Inyo National Forest. At 4,000 yrs old, this tree has seen over a million sunrises & sunsets. The world’s oldest bristlecone pine has lived in this forest for 5,071 yrs. To protect the oldest trees from vandalism, their locations & exact identities are kept secret.
