Stephen Colbert on the ICE murder of Renee Nicole Good: “The message from this administration is clear. Only they determine the truth. And when their forces come to your city: obey or die. And if you die, you clearly didn’t obey. This should be an alarm bell for the entire country.”

He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.

“Appears to undermine”… grow a fucking pair @cnn.com, seriously.

The video evidence appears to undermine elements of the government's narrative of what happened in Minneapolis. https://cnn.it/4qqhOUQ

Bully’s who pick on you, taunt you, even put their hands on you and then overreact if/when you respond. They’re creating the situations. On purpose.
⬇️ They are absolutely being trained to do this, and then to claim that they are being threatened and therefore justified in using deadly force. This is almost certainly coming down from Stephen Miller
Something that needs to be elevated is that ICE agents have been instructed to threaten and illegally detain legal observers. It's a criminal conspiracy to deprive Americans of their 1st & 4th amendment rights.

Renee Good isn't the only victim ICE has targeted and won't be the last.

The problem at its root.
I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

DOJ use of force policy.

He broke the law and murdered a US citizen. Full stop.

Let's make a list of reasons it's ok to kill citizens:
- Has pronouns
- Is gay
- Is Divorced
- Has children from failed marriage
Jesse Watters highlights that Renee Nicole Good, the woman killed by ICE, had "pronouns in her bio" and "leaves behind a lesbian partner and a child from a previous marriage"

Donald Trump wasn’t lying when he said he could get away with shooting someone in the street in broad daylight.

He just forgot to specify if it would be murder for hire.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

The same people who spent yesterday, and the past five years, insisting a Black police officer who shot an insurrectionist breaking into the Capitol should be prosecuted are today bending over backwards to defend an ICE agent who shot a woman in her car in cold blood.

Scum.

AOC: What we saw today was a criminal murder a woman while she was trying to flee for her life. What we saw today was a manifestation of every American’s worst nightmare: their government turning into a tyranny.

Abolishing ICE is the bare minimum.

We need to dismantle DHS. We need restitution. And we need trials.

Deplorable
DHS tweeted this yesterday. Little more than 24 hours later, ICE agents just shot and killed a legal observer in Minneapolis.

This is blatantly illegal. A president can’t go into the oil business and then decide where to spend the money. We are completely untethered from our founding document with a lawless president and a Republican Congress which has abdicated all Constitutional authority.

See? It's not about stealing Venezuela's oil.

It's about Donald Trump getting rich off that stolen oil.

PSA: It was an insurrection.

I remember leaving work at a Government facility and a co-worker just saying “Good luck. Stay safe” having no idea what the next day would look like.
the craziest thing about January 6th was it was a work day. like they were storming the capital and we still had to send emails

It’s been 5 years since over 140 Capitol police were violently assaulted by Trump’s mob.

Republicans dismissed it as political discourse.

The assailants were all pardoned by Trump. Many of them went on to commit more crimes.

It will remain one of the most shameful days in American history.

I don’t recall any law enforcement actions that required, “more than 150 aircraft — bombers, fighters, intelligence, reconnaissance, surveillance [aircraft], rotary wing”
Trump is framing this as a law enforcement operation so he doesn’t need congressional authorization.

He’s not defending our country. He’s defending his grip on power with endless wars.

“American dominance in the Western Hemisphere will never be questioned again.”
