It's not like science fiction hasn't warned us about this for decades.

And don't worry, the videos aren't creepy at all. 😬

I know someone who works at the Peoria Ag Lab. They're scrambling to reorganize and absorb the workload from vacated positions, but it's next to impossible, especially if there's another round of layoffs.

This is the lab where penicillin was first mass produced. They do critical work for us all.

I put this in as my preferred name on my Verizon account years ago, and it has never stopped being funny.

I'm getting tired of performative patriotism like this. Dude's so eager to show off his 'Murica boner that he doesn't realize, given all of the road filth on that flag, he may as well just drag it through the mud.

I named our living room stereo Audio Murphy for streaming purposes, and not near enough people acknowledge how brilliant that is.

Watching a jury orientation video produced by the state, and I love that one of the YouTube-recommended videos is "How to Get Out of Jury Duty (Legally)."

Man, those "exploding" paper straws. I put one in a hot chocolate and the shrapnel almost killed my mom.

What the fuck. This is the dumbest timeline.

I was a subscriber to Heavy Metal for a time, and have a handful of back issues that go waaaayyy back. I'm looking forward to seeing if this relaunch captures the spirit of the original mag.

Seems like there's a sudden flurry of activity on this app. Bring it! With X long dead and Threads being loaded with nonsense, I've been feeling out of touch for a while.

It'd be pretty awesome if folks could help Brian and Mary build out a great place for author events.
Happy to announce the new annex will be open in time for tomorrow's signing. However, getting it to that stage has WIPED OUT the store's bank account. We're only $1,700 away from goal. If you can donate $5, $10, or $20 today, it'll alleviate my current panic attack. www.gofundme.com/f/vortex-boo...
