Too many Democrats struggle when confronted by protestors. The party should develop some sort of a training session that will cut down on the condescension.

So how are people going to talk about the Epstein emails in their classes? I'm teaching a class on the American presidency...

The Epstein-Trump emails make it even clearer that too many mainstream journalists failed to make Epstein an issue in 2015/2016.

Moderates have been lecturing progressives and the left to celebrate Obamacare for the last 15 years....And then eight moderate Democratic senators signed off on gutting it.

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)

The best argument against a shutdown was that the Democrats didn’t have the kind of leadership that could actually handle one without caving

After much consternation following the Kirk assassination, the Mamdani campaign is an ongoing reminder that most on the left are embracing pragmatic tactics.

Nothing to see here folks. It's just Jim Byron, the CEO of the private, political Nixon Foundation, in the Oval (behind Tricia), awarding Trump his foundation's "Architect of Peace" award.

Oh, and by the way, Jim also runs the National Archives day to day, supposedly on leave from the foundation.
