Gallup has Trump's approval rating at 37%, the lowest of his second term. They had him at 34 in January 2021, but other polls had him in the 36-42 range.

Based on recent history, it appears that consistently falling below 35 percent is the point of no return.

Today is the 57th anniversary of the death of Robert F. Kennedy. Tom Hayden was an honorary pallbearer at the funeral at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Many were surprised to see him weeping while wearing a green cap he had picked up from Cuba the previous winter. Here's Hayden's account from his memoir.
