It's a CHOICE communities, developers, and policymakers make to not incentivize, allow, or attempt to build workforce and affordable housing in Brookfield & Wisconsin, let's not ever forget that.

The Brookfield Council hit pause ⏸️ on new vape/smoke shops for 6 months to figure out what regulations we need to put in place.

I’ll be submitting comments like keeping them 1,000 ft from schools/playgrounds & requiring space between shops.

I look forward to what staff and colleagues will suggest

Knocked a door this week and spotted a treehouse in the backyard. I mentioned I helped make treehouses legal in the City of Brookfield.

The resident smiled, nodded, and said, “You’ve got my vote.”

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest impact for families. Even treehouses 🌳

Yesterday we visited Green Mountain Falls, CO to visit the kinetic sculpture Off the Beaten Path by Patrick Shearn. I wasn’t ready for just how dynamic it was even in the slightest breeze. Reminds me of a murmuration of starlings. Incredible artwork. It’ll only be up through October 19th.
