Why don’t the Bears make the whole game out of the fourth quarter?

Brian Gutierrez, the Fire’s opening goal scorer, was six years old. I think this was also the Fire’s first playoff goal since 2012, when he was nine years old.
With their 3-1 victory in the Eastern Conference Wild Card game tonight, Chicago Fire FC have won their first Audi MLS Cup Playoffs game since a 2-0 win against the New England Revolution on November 7, 2009.

Hi, can anyone tell me if you have to be affiliated with a news outlet to submit a piece of their reporting for a Pulitzer?

Definitely feeling closer to god knowing the new Pope has watched all the same Derrick Rose mixtapes that I have.
Robert Prevost from Chicago is the first American pope. He has chosen the name Leo XIV

These are two very well constructed rosters, playing in a league where 1/3 of the teams are tanking.
Best point diff. per 100 possessions on the road in the 29 seasons of play-by-play data...

1. Boston - 2024-25: +10.4
2. Oklahoma City - 2024-25: +10.3
3. San Antonio - 2006-07: +8.9
4. Chicago - 2011-12: +8.7
5. Boston - 2007-08: +8.5

Celtics have 2 road games remaining. Thunder have 4.

There really could not have been a better moment for Genki to drop a Tokyo Xtreme Racer reboot. (It's fantastic, btw)

When I'm dispatching rivals on the Shuto Expressway, blasting Limp Bizkit, I can almost convince myself it's 1999.

Also, credit Kyle Mooney's "Y2K" for giving me that Bizkit itch.

Drake just signed a legal document acknowledging "Not Like Us" did him great harm.

Is this not the biggest defeat in hip-hop history?

Martin Brundle putting in another all-time performance on the grid.

Brundle, literally craning his neck looking for anyone to interview: “none of the 70+ celebrities appear to be on the grid”

Handler: “we have Jenny McCarthy”

Brundle: “Um… no thanks”

Absolute treasure, this man.

Had an absolute blast watching The People’s Joker, for the first time, at @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social last night. So much funnier than I’d anticipated, and the level of artistic craft in each scene is mind-blowing.

Also, Vera Drew gave maybe the most fun Q&A I’ve been to since John Waters.

Coincidentally started playing this last night, and it’s really fantastic. Incredibly clever, well written, and fun little mysteries. Perfect way to scratch that Benoit Blanc itch.

Watching the Chicago Bulls’ Ring Of Honor ceremony.

In defense of the stadium full of people booing the announcement of Jerry Krause’s inclusion, they only booed that loudly so that Jerry himself could hear them in hell.

It is now abundantly clear that Diane Feinstein was the one holding back this investigation.
Man Is Charged With Murder in Tupac Shakur Case
The man, a former gang leader named Duane Keith Davis, has said the four shots that killed the rapper in 1996 came from the vehicle he was riding in.

Senator Feinstein passing should give all of us a chance to reflect on our own contribution to our community.

Specifically, do you hang around places so long that people will be relieved when you die?

This is a fools errand. People are just going to say that Rick DeSantis puts “jatz” in his coffee from now on. You’ve accomplished nothing, Disney.
Is Star Wars trying to ditch its most hilariously inappropriate name?
A.k.a.: What the hell is "jatz music" supposed to be, Disney?
