It’s remarkable how much colder 50° is in Oklahoma is than in Utah. Higher humidity and a constant breeze made a two layer difference.

So we have Riebe, McAdams, and Kitchen running for CD1 so far. I want to get excited about a candidate. Riebe seems interesting but I don’t know her yet. I like Kitchen but he lost his state senate seat to Jen Plumb. And McAdams is decent but depressingly moderate. So still open.

Seems counter intuitive that the Salt Lake County Council Republicans are closing a senior center in Salt Lake City as the number of seniors continues to rise. I assume it’s just another way for Republicans to punish Salt Lake City.

If he doesn’t know what they were imaging then, yes, it was his brain.
Trump: Getting an MRI is very standard. The doctor said it was the best result he has ever seen. The result was outstanding.

It just seems to me that most Utahns would look at this map and think, “Looks about right”.
Breaking: Judge Gibson rejects the Legislature’s congressional boundaries. Chooses the plaintiffs Map 1. A solid northern SLCO district that strongly favors a Democrat.

Schott is saying the new SLCO district is Harris +23. But whether it’s the SLTrib’s +17 or the Utah Political Watch +23 it’s a pretty good district.
The US Senate was set up as an undemocratic institution to protect the rich from the wishes of the masses and even with changing to direct elections I’d say it’s still doing a pretty good job at that. It should be abolished and the House expanded to 1,000 members.

If Democrats are going to betray us we need new Democrats. All this Utah hype for McAdams? Do you think he wouldn’t betray us? I have my doubts. If we get a Dem district in Utah we should elect a Democrat.
