Most Brits want climate action but think their neighbours don't. Most Brits support renewable energy but think their neighbours don't.

This is the work of relentless misinformation by our right-wing press and the oiligarchy.
Poll: Majority of Brits support renewables, but think their neighbours disagree with them
Major poll reveals 70 per cent of Brits would back a new solar farm in their local area, but only 27 per cent think that other people would support such a development

It has become received wisdom in Brussels and Washington that there is a new “euro-sclerosis”: that the EU economy is lagging the US

This view is wrong

A little primer on the measurement of productivity – and why reports of the economic death of Europe are greatly exaggerated🧵

They think they can appease their enemies and they cannot. This is an era in which fights must be picked. This one has been foisted on the BBC. They should contest it with the all the might they can, all the same.

There's nothing inherently wrong with climate change. It's just that the ecosystems and built environments that we depend on as life support systems aren't equipped to handle the rapid changes. So if we want to live, we should deal with climate change ASAP.

The Climate Change Act has led to a regime in which Government finds itself compelled to make short-run technological choices that may or may not pay off, and to do so via policies that are chock full of unintended consequences. I have written about this before. /1

Or, how the real Deep State holds back decarbonisation and growth by accident.

Charlie Kirk’s murder was utterly abhorrent and corrosive to our politics.

So was much of the reaction to it- including from his allies.

My piece.

No Boris Johnson, Charlie Kirk did not represent "common sense"
His murder was a tragedy. Yet it was politicised by his own side instantly. The reaction revealed much.

Obvious point this, but people need to stop believing what they are told by Farage, GB News, and the general declinist and alarmist media narrative and start paying attention to what is really going on regarding crime in this country.

The BBC and mainstream media have a duty to get the truth out.
