More threats from the US - this time Musk vs Ryanair - which, regardless, won't do anything to improve anyone's spirits in the UK

We are hearing a lot about the Western hemisphere from Trump etc. Technically it's anything West of Greenwich London - so for anyone living in eg. Norwich welcome to the East. However, from a US perspective it seems the Western hemisphere excludes anything remotely European but includes Greenland..

I wonder what Trump and Musk will have to say about this (as they might see it) attack on free speech - my guess is they will be smart enough to be quiet for once but in Musk's case I wouldn't put money on it.

First, stop putting the yield curve pre-existing moron premium on drugs by kite-flying and second please announce key changes to income tax, corporation tax, CGT, IHT and VAT etc only once a year but in principle I agree more minor changes particularly on spending could be dealt with as and when ...

Measures should instead be announced when they are individually ready to be announced – at any time in the parliamentary calendar.

True ⬇️ but most annoyingly for people wanting to move house, the promise of no SDLT in 2029 in a hypothetical Tory government is nobody (particularly eg. empty nester pensioners) will move until then - unless they are forced to by work relocation etc. Until then yet more housing inactivity.
Badenoch is flunking in part because she wants to speak as if her party has been out of power more often than not in recent years, which was true of Thatcher in 1975 and is comically untrue of Badenoch in 2025.

Is there a petition in favour of ID cards? #IDCards #BritCard

And, while I am thinking about this, why aren't those campaigning about the migrant boats demanding a new #ECHR clause to the effect "regardless of anything else in this charter these rights only apply to citizens of ECHR members"?

Truly horrific
Tesla is about to launch its autonomous taxi in Austin next week. But the company uses far fewer sensors to run its "full-self driving mode".
