I met with Central FL seniors to talk about what the Republican government shutdown and health care crisis means for them.

The reality? Premiums are skyrocketing for over 100K Floridians. Republicans need to end this shutdown and I'll keep fighting to protect your care.

At least 15 government oversight websites went down — and with them, access to watchdog reports and required hotline and whistleblower links. It’s a deliberate move by the White House.

It's not a shutdown issue: the White House is withholding funds from the umbrella organization for the government's inspectors general.

When you see how excited Trump, Russ Vought, and Republicans are about the government shutdown, it becomes pretty obvious the reason why they refused to negotiate a compromise with Democrats is because they wanted this and they completely own this, regardless of their lies.
