Commenced book #4 of 2025; Jodi Taylor's About Time - the fourth in the Time Police series. Book 3, Saving Time, was excellent. Matthew's mum and girlfriend save Athens and Paris from annihilation. Jane's love life progresses while two other Time Police begin what may be a romance for the ages.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

And all the post-election think pieces should be be focused on the question of why voters refused to accept that message from Biden and Harris. But that would lead inevitably to an examination of media coverage of Biden and of Harris.
In @jonathanweisman.bsky.social's magnum opus about Dems and the working class, it's at the end that you get the full truth about 2024: Biden-Harris ran the most pro-worker administration in decades, but voters blamed them for inflation anyway.
