Meet Heinz Jost. Jost was commander of Einsatzgruppe A in the Baltic States from March to September 1942. Heinz was tried for crimes against humanity at Nuremberg, found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was released in 1951 after his sentence was reduced to 10 years.

After a sleepless night, I finished About Time at 7 am. The series keeps getting better and better.

Commenced book #4 of 2025; Jodi Taylor's About Time - the fourth in the Time Police series. Book 3, Saving Time, was excellent. Matthew's mum and girlfriend save Athens and Paris from annihilation. Jane's love life progresses while two other Time Police begin what may be a romance for the ages.

This weekend's reading was a re-read of Amongst Our Weapons by @benaaronovitch.bsky.social and started the Time Police series by Jodi Taylor with Book 1; Doing Time. Quarter way in and I'm hooked.
